4. When humans go long periods without washing their hair, insect‑like spirits gather on their heads. All other beings in creation also bear such insect‑like spirits upon them. Summoning and reciting "Leaders of the Ten‑Thousand Religions" can draw in and settle these two kinds of spirits.

God is comparable to the supreme leader among the Leaders of the Ten‑Thousand Religions. May every animal and plant receive gentle nourishment and timely rescue in times of peril. The Leaders of the Ten‑Thousand Religions are primarily human religious leaders, supplemented by leaders from the animal and plant kingdoms.
We may absorb mysterious energies, such as moving divine insects within our bodies. This may well be the manifestation of gods and buddhas.
